Today's project was super fun. I made crayons for E's class's valentines. It was so much fun, and super simple! First I seperated the crayons into colors. She needed 7 different colors, so they coordinated with her kids, so thats what I did.

Then, I put them in a tin can and put the tin can into a pot of boiling water. I left them in the boiling water until they completely melted. It took about ten minutes or so.

After they completely melted, I poured them into molds. I used soap molds to put the melted crayons, as I figured that chocolate molds would melt from the heat. Plus, who would want to use a chocolate mold for chocolate after you put crayons in it...

After they hardened, I popped them out of the molds. They turned out fantastic! It took a little while for them to harden, cause they were a little big. Luckily, it was cold outside, so I put them out there.

Then, I made baggie toppers. I used Valentine's scrapbook paper, and cut out squares. I made them say "Valentine... you're a star" I went to staple them together, but couldn't find one anywhere. So after searching the entire house, I found one in a dresser drawer upstairs.

I think they turned out pretty amazing! What do you all think?
