Feeling Kinda Blah
I realize, I've slacked. I'm not a perfect mom, but I'm working on it. I do have so much that I want to put up here, like Charlotte's first birthday party, and some of her adventures outside, but its just been hectic. I wish I could be perfect. I wish I had time to do all these activities that I see on Pinterist and what not, but I don't. Today, I just want to cry. I feel like a failure as a mother, because of everything I've done wrong. Today, she didn't get a nap until late in the day, and I feel like my kid will never have a schedule, and I'm doing everything wrong. Why do I constantly have this mommy guilt? I love my baby girl, I just want to make her happy and spend as much time as I can with her.

Valentines Day and more....
Its been a little busy around here recently. Sorry, I haven't updated in a while. Anyway, this is what we've been up to. First I was putting up some pictures in the living room. I got these super cute wall decals at Walmart. Our walls are all very very white. Its very boring. As you can see:
So anyways these are the decals I got: And now the wall looks amazing:
This was Beanie's first valentines, so her Daddy got her a rose. I told him that should be one of his traditions with her. That way, she'll always get a rose from her daddy on Valentines Day.

Mommy with her roses and Beanie with hers.

We also had a little project. I made fondant for the first time to decorate cupcakes for Erica's class. They turned out pretty well I think. And they tasted delicious.

Just be careful with the sprinkles!
Beanie is starting to get around so well. Here she is hiding behind the couch. Playing with the kitty and trying to escape the living room.

Here she is starting walk. By now, she's walking pretty much everywhere. Last week she was crawling adn now she's walking everywhere! I can't believe it. I feel like she was just born yesterday.

Valentines Crayons.
Today's project was super fun. I made crayons for E's class's valentines. It was so much fun, and super simple! First I seperated the crayons into colors. She needed 7 different colors, so they coordinated with her kids, so thats what I did.
Then, I made baggie toppers. I used Valentine's scrapbook paper, and cut out squares. I made them say "Valentine... you're a star" I went to staple them together, but couldn't find one anywhere. So after searching the entire house, I found one in a dresser drawer upstairs.
I think they turned out pretty amazing! What do you all think?
Happy Valentine's Day!

A Valentines Project
So I made this cool Valentine's Rag Garland. It was super simple. I took and cut up some fabric into about 1/2 inch strips, not really being very careful, just cutting it up into strips, some were bigger, some were actually much smaller. Anyways, then I tied them onto a piece of yarn. Simple. Thats all there was to it. Check it out.
Anyways, Bean is growing up so much, and I just wanted to share some of my favorite pictures of her right now.
She's getting into everything. Which means mom needs to take some time to baby proof this house :)
We got Bean this adorable, rocking elephant that sings. She absolutely loves the thing. She can't quite work it herself, but she loves riding it.

I love her smile. I love her laugh. She just laughs and laughs and is so happy and joyful. She brings me such joy each and every day.
She is adorable, and PS, I made those leggings too :)
Mommy and her bean!

Groundhog Day
Tomorrow is Groundhog Day, and here in PA, this is a time-honored tradition. If the groundhog sees his shadow tomorrow, we'll have 6 more weeks of winter. If he doesn't, spring is just around the corner. Now, if winter stays as mild as this one has been, I probably won't even mind six more weeks, but spring is always nice...
I spent today making groundhog cupcakes for my cousin. She has a daughter who was born on Groundhog Day ten years ago. I think they turned out pretty nice...

What do you think? Are they good?
